Prepare me for a client call

Prompt · Prompts Free Checked: October 2026

Questions to ask the client, answers to likely objections, and a practice call where AI plays the client.

What it is

Works for a first call, a price discussion, a complaint or a contract renewal. The model prepares questions and honest answers from your facts only, and where facts are missing it adds a "need to confirm" flag. The second part is practice: the AI plays a client with the mood you choose and reviews each of your answers.

Help me prepare for a conversation with a client.

Who the client is: [who they are, what they do, what's known about them: no unnecessary personal data]
Reason for the conversation: [first call / discussing price / a complaint / a renewal]
What I want out of it: [for example: agreement to a proposal / a date for the next step / keeping the client]
What worries me: [for example: they'll say "too expensive," they'll ask something I don't know]
My facts: [prices, timelines, terms, what's already been done: real facts only]

Do the following:
1. The goal of the conversation in one sentence, and the minimum result I'd be happy with.
2. Five questions worth asking the client to understand their situation.
3. Seven questions or objections the client is most likely to raise. For each, a short, honest answer based on my facts. If a fact is missing, write [NEED TO CONFIRM].
4. What not to say: phrases that would make the conversation worse.
5. How to close: wording for the next step.

Then run a practice session: you play the client, who is [calm / skeptical / irritated]. Ask one question at a time and wait for my answer. After each answer, briefly say what was good and what I should say differently. After 5 questions, give an overall review.
