What it is

Microsoft Copilot is a free assistant for questions, writing and quick page summaries; it works in the browser, in the desktop and phone apps and in Edge. Deeper work in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook comes through the paid Microsoft 365 plans (Personal, Family, Premium). Premium ($19.99 a month) adds the Researcher, Analyst and Tasks agents. Copilot Pro is no longer sold separately.
